This Cooler is More Affordable and Superior to YETI

As a YETI enthusiast, I have always relied on their Stackable Mug for coffee, Wine Tumbler for cocktails or wine, Rambler Jr. Water Bottle for my kids, and Boomer Dog Bowl for my furry friend. For longer events and gatherings, the YETI Tundra 45 was my go-to cooler, capable of accommodating up to 54 cans or 37 pounds of ice. However, my loyalty was challenged when I stumbled upon the BrüTank 55-Quart Rolling Cooler while searching for a second cooler for my husband’s birthday party. Despite initially considering another YETI, a promotional email from Brümate caught my attention with its rugged yet stylish design. After reading numerous positive reviews, I decided to give it a chance.

When I made the purchase, the white option was unavailable, prompting me to choose a vibrant shade of pink instead. I couldn’t contain my excitement when I unboxed it; the color is delightful and adds a wonderful touch to our backyard setup. However, it wasn’t just the appealing aesthetics that convinced me to go for this cooler—after all, YETI offers a variety of fantastic colors as well.

The feature that I find most appealing about the BrüTank 55-Quart Rolling Cooler is its exceptional functionality. It’s like upgrading from a base model YETI to a Denali. The BrüTank boasts impressive ice retention capabilities; I discovered that there were still ice cubes present in the cooler almost a week after hosting a party. Furthermore, I was amazed to find out that the beer and water I had stored inside remained cold for over two weeks, even after most of the ice had melted.

However, what truly stands out for me is the inclusion of a removable 2.8-gallon drink tank with a convenient built-in tap. This feature has proven to be incredibly versatile and handy. I’ve utilized it to fill enough water for my family during our beach outings, to store refreshing lemonade for my son’s lemonade stand, and even to serve margaritas at a lively gathering with friends. The drink tank is completely separate from the main compartment, allowing me to dispense beverages without having to open the main tank. This not only ensures the freshness and coldness of the food and beverages stored in the main compartment but also adds convenience to the overall experience.

The cooler also comes with a dry rack—perfect for sandwiches or other provisions you want to keep cool but moisture-free. There’s also a built-in bottle opener (never be caught without!), plus a foam seat top that you can use as a table for eating. It’s nice and grippy, so nothing will slide off and onto the ground. Trust me: This is key we once had our entire dinner slide right off the YETI and into the grass, and it was a huge bummer!

Despite its substantial weight of 50 pounds when empty, the BrüTank Rolling Cooler compensates for this with its durable wheels that effortlessly navigate various terrains. From grassy areas to crushed stones and even soft sand, the cooler glides smoothly, making transportation a breeze. Additionally, the fold-down handle provides ample leverage, eliminating the need for excessive pulling force. Remarkably, even my young children, aged 4 and 5, can easily pull the cooler without encountering any difficultie.

To put it simply, I adore this cooler so much that my YETI, once a favorite, has been relegated to a backup role in the garage this summer. I’ve become such a fan that I’m slowly converting those around me as well. My mother, for instance, not only purchased one for herself but also gifted a second unit as a wedding present for one of her friends’ children. The cooler’s durability, ample storage capacity, convenience, and aesthetic appeal make it an all-around winner in my book. What else could one possibly desire?
